Organ Donation
The gift of Paige Victoria Perry lives on in others in need
Even in the face of their intense grief, when the New England Organ Donor Bank called on the day of Paige’s passing and asked if they could use two heart valves from Paige, Chris and Tiffany put aside their grief for a brief moment to allow two ill babies to receive an opportunity for future life from Paige.
More than 89,000 Americans are waiting for lifesaving organ transplants and many more wait for donated tissues. On average, 17 people in this country die every day (6,600 each year) waiting for organ transplants. The reason is simply that we have a tragic shortage of donated organs and tissues.
The Perry Family encourages you to consider a gift of your organs upon your passing.
The New England Organ Bank (NEOB) is the oldest independent organ procurement organization (OPO) in the Country. It is the federally-designated OPO for all or part of the six New England states.
